Life and soft skills training that equips survivors with tools for daily life, healing, and employment.

Preparing Students for a Beautiful Future
Our Beautiful Future Orientation is a 12-week program designed to build skills and resilience. Beautiful Future is a required program for incoming students of Miss Julie’s School of Beauty. This pre-enrollment program focuses on both interpersonal and intrapersonal skill building, tailored specifically to the cosmetology field. We recognize that many of our students are survivors who have already invested deeply in their healing journey. Beautiful Future Orientation helps bridge that growth into professional success by offering 12 sessions that align with the skills they will develop once classes begin. By strengthening confidence, communication, and career-readiness before school starts, we set our students up to thrive in the classroom and their future beauty careers.

Therapeutic Secondary Support
We strengthen connections between resources and the community to support survivors where they are in each step of their journey. Everything we do—with survivors, in the community, and as an organization is built for emotional safety—for every body.
Flexible & Trained Staff
Our team brings together licensed social workers, trauma specialists, beauty professionals, and survivor leaders. With diverse expertise in trauma-informed care—including mental health, substance use, advocacy, suicide prevention, and awareness—we prioritize survivor-led initiatives and maintain sensitive, survivor-centered practices. Team leaders are trained in Stop Observe Ask Respond SOAR ACF.Gov , Mental Health First Aid, Safe Talk, and Restorative Circles,

Anonymity & Safety
We prioritize the safety and confidentiality of all our students, creating a secure learning environment. Our facility features enhanced security measures, confidential intake processes, and strict privacy protocols to protect survivor identities and ensure their ongoing safety.
Breaking Barriers
We address systemic barriers that prevent survivors from accessing traditional education and employment opportunities. This includes providing transportation assistance, childcare support, flexible scheduling, financial aid, and ongoing mentorship to ensure long-term success.
